WHY WE ARE BUILDING

We are building for a generational Gospel presence in Eastmont.

An updated building allows for our church to intentionally serve this neighborhood with the hope of Jesus for the next 40 years.

We are building to grow so we can send.

Being a church of 500-600 allows us to consistently create and support church plants with strength. Our big idea is to plant 100 churches by 2050. We believe building is the first step for us to have the size and financial stability to plant well.

We are building to maintain our culture of community.

Increasing our worship center and kids space by 50% allows us to keep our church at two services and maintain a culture of being known, loved, and cared for well.

We are building to emphasize being multi-generational.

With more ADA access, we will love and care for our older generation along with families with special needs. With expanded kids and youth space, we will be able to share the hope of Jesus with more of the next generation.

God has placed us as a Gospel light in the Eastmont neighborhood.

We believe God has called us to make a Gospel impact throughout Snohomish County.

We want to see more Gospel churches planted and people reached across every nation, tribe, and language.

God is using technology to open doors for Gospel conversations worldwide, and we want to expand that work online.

3 PHASES OF THE BUILD

Parking

Worship Center

Our aim is to double our parking capacity, adding 70 new paved stalls, along with clear walkways, for a total of 130+ parking spaces.

Our plan is to remodel the current gym for a new 300 seat worship center, larger lobby, updated ADA restrooms, and auxiliary space for groups and gatherings.

Kids & Youth Space

We will renovate our current worship center and kids space to create a quality and safe kids ministry space. We aim to increase our kids capacity by over 50% along with a multi-purpose youth gathering space.

MULTIPLYING HOPE: THE BIG IDEA

Our goal at Hope has always stayed the same. Our prayer when we planted Hope was to start a church that became a healthy, Gospel-centered church that would plant more Gospel-centered churches around the world.
As we think about this next season of our church, it’s clear we have been blessed by God to this point for a reason. I believe the reason is for growing his kingdom through the multiplication of churches. So, here’s our big idea…

100 churches by 2050.

Starting new churches is a clear evangelistic effort to see people come to faith in Jesus for the first time. We have also seen many believers stirred up and strengthened in their ability to share hope in Jesus with others through our church.

We are building so we can grow and we’re growing so we can send.

Our prayer is that God would continue strengthening Hope Community so we can plant more churches, support more church planters, send more global partners, invest in more ministry leaders, and see more people experience the hope of Jesus. That’s been part of our vision from the beginning, and we believe God is inviting us to take another step toward it.

We believe this building plan helps us take another step in the vision God has called us to: for every person would experience real and eternal hope in Jesus.
